Returned from Manchester a couple of days ago, and am now having a really sleepy weekend (the extra hour provided by the BST->GMT changeover was, as always, very handy).
The tremors in Manchester were continuing even as I left, and experts say that they could last for many weeks. I lost count of the number that I felt while I was there. On Thursday night I dreamed of earthquakes, and was unsurprised to discover the following morning that those dreams coincided with actual events. Here is some technical information on the 'earthquake swarm' as it's called, since the main news sites are lacking in any real scientific detail.
