Escaped Valentine's Day unscathed, receiving exactly no cards, which brings the total number of cards I've received in the last ten years up to zero.
But at least I didn't send any either. If I'd sent cards and received none in return, I might have reason to be depressed. But at least this way I can put it down to a refusal to participate.
Hahaha i like your logic. Did you get one ten years ago then? Well I see sending them as an investment. I work on the assumption that, by giving them out, I am keeping them in circulation and the more there are around, the more chance that it will eventually be my turn. I sent loads this year, because I was fed up of feeling like I was being excluded from the Valentines Day club and realised I could buy my way into the club from the other side, so to speak. I would have sent you one but I didn't know your address.
It's probably well over 10 years since I got a card actually, I was just rounding off.
Good thing you didn't know my address because you would have spoiled my immaculate record. Heh. Not that I would have particularly minded.
